In March of 2024, in the warmth of the Guatemala sun, a holy moment unfolded as the very first copy of the Achi Bible was presented to the team of indigenous Scripture translators.

Decades of dedication, meticulous work and an unwavering love for Jesus was now bound in leather and held in their hands for the very first time and shared with their entire community.

We celebrate that the Achi are experiencing the hope, joy, and transformation of Scripture! But there is still more to be done.

Today, more than 3,000 people groups do not yet have the Word of God. That’s nearly a billion people in Asian cities, African tribes, South American communities, Middle Eastern villages, and beyond without Scripture in the language they best understand.
